Field season 2010 has started

 

Friday 23. of April Lars Berg Larsen and Lone Holm Hansen finally made it to Kangerlussuaq several days and hours later than scheduled, due to the ongoing eruption in Eyjafjalla Jökull. Louise Albershart arrived later on in the evening, several days later than expected.

Almost everything looked as when it was closed down in August 2009, except our cars that had got a severe go of soap, water and wax - THANK you very much Basse!

At the moment the FOM mail system is out of order, but we are working on having it work again. Also we are working on making the warehouse ready for new cargo, picking up cargo at the airport, going through everything and prepare for the arrival of another 13 field participant on Monday 26 of April.

Tuesday 27. of April we hope to make the first flight to the NEEM camp.
