This afternoon we got confirmation that a plane will head for EGRIP tomorrow morning. We keep our fingers crossed. Now the plane can come; but the weather forecast tells about possible overcast tomorrow, so let’s see…

Anyway, we are more than prepared. We have been waiting for two days so we are eager to be pulled out tomorrow.

Most of us have not had a shower since April, and we are looking forward to be clean and wearing clean clothes.

There has been time to read, to talk, to play games and several simply took a walk on the ice just to get out a bit.

What we have done today:

1.    Waiting for news about the plane.
2.    Talking to office in Kangerlussuaq.
3.    Several phone calls to family and friends.
4.    Watching movies and reading books.
5.    Re-fuelling the daytank.
6.    Documentation of camp.

Weather: Beautiful day. Temp. – 14°C to -24°C, 3 m/s from WSW turning to WNW. Visibility:  Un-restricted.

FL, J.P. Steffensen
